It has been too long

Yep, I started this blog because it was snowing here in the MD area. I was trapped in the house for days with snow outside. Yuck! Now its 6 months later and I love the weather we have been having these past couple of days.  While waiting on my CPA exam results, I’ve been trying to keep my mind occupied by reading some personal finance blogs. I’ve secretly always wanted to have my own personal finance blog, but I enjoy reading others more. (Cost benefit analysis? lol).  My most favorite person to get financial advice from is my Dad! I’ve watched him do amazing things with the little bit of money he earned over his lifetime. I’m trying to duplicate his success without letting my mothers habits take over lol.  I’m sure over the coming blog post, I’ll go more into his story, but for now since he doesn’t have a blog, you can read Dave Ramsey’s site since their advice is pretty similar.

Other things going on with me, getting ready to read my tax textbook for a bit and then heading to bed. Every Saturday morning I usually work out.
